World of Warcraft – Flipping Items On The Auction House For Gold
The art of flipping items or buying low, selling high on the auction house in World of Warcraft has always been a great way to get extra gold. Even though it is very effective it does come with a lot of risk. Before you begin flipping you have to make sure you know your servers market. If you do not have a firm grasp on the prices of the items you are going to flip you can get burned very easily. The prices on the auction house in World of warcraft change quite a bit form week to week or even day to day. The best thing to do is either get an add-on like auctioneer, auctionator, or trade skills master. You can also create a spread sheet or memorize a set of items that you want to work with. I’d advise watching the prices for at least a week before you put to much gold in it. If you don’t do your research you could log on and see what you think is a deal only to realize afterword that the price you bought them at was way above the average price and you only sell a few or possible none before being Buy wow gold undercut in a big way and having no hope of making your gold back.
Once you know what your servers average price is for an item than you can take advantage of items listed much cheaper then they should be.
One of my favorite things to flip is volatiles. You can get some very good deals on these if you log in early in the morning. A lot of times there will be larger stacks of 200 listed for 1 to 2 gold below the average price. I’ll buy these then break them down into smaller stacks of 30,10, and singles and relist them. Making a profit of 1 or 2 gold doesn’t seem like a lot but when you buy 3 stacks of 200 and sell them all for 1 to 2 gold a piece more then you bought them for that’s 600g profit. Now volatiles are a little different then other items because you can sell 600 of them in a day since they are used for so many different things and people will buy 30 to 100 of them at a time.
The main items you want to target for flipping are those items used for crafting. This would include any of the clothes, leathers, herbs, ores, enchanting mat’s, gems, or volatiles. If you have a bunch of gold already then you can go for some of the higher end items like epics and rare pets or recipes. These items have a lot more risk but if your lucky enough to spot a deal you can make hundreds or even a few thousand gold on 1 item.
